Hi.

I've just purchased a Liteon USB Dvd burner (model sohw-1653sx) and I want to be able to use it to re-initialise my hard drive from a Norton Ghost image. Trouble is, when I boot uo into DOS, I can't see the DVD burner. Can anyone let me know where I can find some DOS drivers that will let me "see" the burner? Thanks

The first page in Ghost asks you if you want to make "restore disks". Go into Ghost, make "restore disks", and boot off those.

Perhaps I should have give more background.

I want to create a system setup dvd that I can use to initialise new pc's (which don't have floppy drives). I want to save the image to a dvd and boot into a ghost session that lets me navigate to the USB dvd drive, but I need to be able to install dos drivers for the dvd so I can "see" it.

This is covered on the "Restore Disk" I posted. It makes a DOS boot disk, and you can choose what media the "Restore Disk" will utilize.

What OS is this for? If Windows XP, you can create a "Barts PE Disk" This is a bootable CD/DVD you can add any drivers you want.
