HELP! A new tech tried ghosting a hard drive to a brand new drive but copied the new drive to the old. Is there anyway to undo? OS: Windows XP PRo NTFS Both drives are 80GB Western digital. Norton Ghost ver. 7.5 Tech did not do a backup!

There is no way of reverting back from this point. The partition and data have been written.

If you want to find out the experience of an identical situation, please read the saga from August of my sorry story about speeding up recovery times using Lost and Found.

Well, just wanted to let you all know that my boss (whose drive it was that got ghosted) opted to send the drive to datasavers which was recomended by the support at symantic. The cost will be anywheres between 600 and 2700
:(

Thanks for feedback. Would appreciate knowing what success they have when you get results back.
