Norton Ghost 6.03 query

Hi There,

I've just purchased a new WD 80gig HDD and want to transfer the contents of my existing 40gig HDD to it so I can use the larger drive in my machine for video editing and ditch the 40gig which has been playing up. I've got Norton ghost which came with my MOBO but when I go to do a disk to disk copy the "disk" part of the menu is greyed out and only gives the option of disk to image even though the disk to disk option is listed in the directions of the MOBO manual. (hope that makes sense). I've got the 40gig as master on EIDE 1 and the 80gig as master on EIDE 2 both drives are recognised by BIOS etc and the 80gig has been F/Disked and formatted using the Win ME boot disk (the O/S on the 40gig)

Any ideas as to what I can do ?

Don't worry about this now. I used a prog from WD's web site called EZmanager that copies from disk to disk all the data exactly, took a while but now when I boot from the 80gig it's exactly the same as the old 40gig.

The hard drive should have came with a Western Digital floppy disk. That has a program on their that will do a disk to disk copy. It is pretty much guaranteed to copy all your files over with no problems.

The drive was not supplied with any floppy or CD but the program I downloaded from the WD website did the trick.
