I made a disk image to DVD and another one to a combination of CDs and DVDs. The problem is I can not verify the integrity of the images because the computer just locks up when I try to do it via Windows XP (W/SP2). And when I try to do it from DOS, I don't have any mouse control. You can do some things without a mouse in DOS but since Ghost is lookig at the A: drive and my image is on D: I need the mouse to dhange directories. Is there a way to put the mouse driver on my Ghost boot disk? If so, please give instructions and keep it simple so I can do it step by step.

Thanks in advance,
Phil

Do you have a "boot" disk? It has mouse drivers on it. Boot with it, and see if this will help. You can also go into Ghost, and make a "restore disk". You need this anyway to restore the image, if needed.

Ghost 2003 boot disk's I've created and used have ALL had mouse support. Suggest make another one? Did you let Ghost use PC Dos or supply MS Dos for it to create boot disk from? (suggest trying whichever you didn't)

Thanks everyone for your input. Ghost 2003 makes CD/DVD image disks bootable automatically, so you're told to disregard the "make boot disk" prompt. I eventually figured out that I could navigate to the CD drive with the Tab key. Duh!! :) Anyway, that still failed on the 2nd DVD. Can't remember why now. I finally ended up making a partition on my 2nd hard disk and copying an image there. With a HD image, a boot floppy is required. The HD image's integrity check verified successfully. Hope it really works when I need it. Now that I have the HD image, I may try to restore from the DVDs or Cd's just to see if I can.

Thanks Again all.
