Hi all and thanks to those of you had helped me with being able to not open new windows in IE 6 (i.e. yahoo games and bank login pages, orbitz calendars, etc.). The problem finally lied in norton firewall. Now, I have another question. I essentially have to turn off my firewall to use IE 6 properly. When the firewall is on, I am unable to open certain web pages (barnes and nobles, etc.), unable to play yahoo games, unable to use some bank and credit card pages to use online services, etc. I've played around with the settings to the firewall, privacy options, ad blocking, etc..but to no avail. According to cox cable tier 2 support, there is a configuration problem with norton and IE 6. Is anyone aware of this problem or have any advice? Thanks again.
