Norton Crash at 7%

i was installing norton virus killer 2003 on my pc and it crashed at 7% now everytime i restart my com it loades ok till it gets to the desk top then just crashes when an error installing norton appears any one know how to remove norton completly from my system it will not let me do it in safe mode and thats the only way i can get the com to go on ok,I am running (xp home service pack 1)

Not exactly sure which what version of 2003 you are using or your OS, but try one the article that fits best for you. Reboot your system in safe mode and following the instructions.

sorry it was norton antivirus 2003 professional edition ver 9.05.15 computer is running xp home.. It never installed norton only went for a bit and stopped 7 secs from end now cannot get com to load unless i boot in safe mode but get a warning from norton saying it is rolling back but does nothing at all com just freezes
