Having a battle install this at home on XP PRO.
I did as requested and that was to boot from CD to scan first but it got hung up somewhere into it and could not continue.
When I tried installing in Windows it gets to the part where it says "preparing virus definition tables" it immediatley goes into Rolling Back install mode and tells me it can not install at this time.
Trying to install as client and unmanaged.
No previous versions of any Anti Virus programs
Have only use Houscall Online

Thanks

Why are you installing Corporate Edition on a home computer? You should be using NIS 2004 or the like instead.

It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Do you have 7 PC's running on a network with Microsoft Exchange in your home with this NIS version and will it do just as good as a job as CE?

For virus protection? Absolutely, because that's all your getting with CE. With NIS, you're also going to get intrusion detection, anti-spam, etc. The only advantage you'd have with CE is the Mail Security option to add-on to the Exchange server.

Did you install the CE to a server first, then push out to the clients? That's the way it works best, and the way it was designed to operate.

XP Pro isn't a server. Not sure if you can install CE Server to XP Pro..apparently not?
