A couple weeks ago, a client's Peachtree server shutdown during the weekend. After finding nothing wrong, we were finally able to get through to Peachtree tech support who let us know that a recent AV update was causing Norton/Symantec to shutdown the Pervasive SQL engine.
A simple reboot or restart of the service was supposed to solve the problem. However, it's still happening every night, despite the fact that we have the current AV update, which shouldn't be doing this anymore...
Any "real solutions" before I just set the service to auto start each morning?
