Norton Antivirus want's to remove NAVENG? HELP!

Hello!

I've got an alert from ZoneAlarm Pro version 6.5.722.000 that "Norton Antivirus is trying to remove a driver or service: NAVENG"

What should I respond?! Yes or No???

When I search the internet for NAVENG and what that might be I (with not so much computer experience) find that it might have somthing to do with Norton Antivirus it self.

I've got the alert when I started a norton antivirus scan on my computer, it had just started when the alert came.

Help me please!

I'm having the same sort of thing, but navex15 rather than naveng. I've found multiple copies of navex15 files, with .vxd, .sys and .exp suffixes, different sizes and dates, all within the c:/programfiles/commonfiles/symantec shared/virus defs and then separate folders.

Also XP SP2, ZOne Alarm 6.577, Norton AV 2006 (aka "clunky")

do not reply to it but instead try uninstalling the Norton completely and then reinstalling it. the file may have become corrupted and norton is thinking it is a virus (even tho it isnt).
