After installing Norton System Works 2003 Pro., I get a window with an error message that says "Norton AntiVirus has enountered an internal program error. error # 4002,517."
I get this error message every time Norton Anti-Virus attempts to load "auto protect". I went to Symantec's web site and tried everything suggested for this particular problem with no success (removed registry keys, ran Rnav2003.exe removal tool, un-installed the application and any other Symantec products, removed all "Symantec folders and files off the hardrive.) Symantec's web site claims that this issue is usually resolved with the latest version of Symantec's Common Client program update, but that's not the case.
I'm stumped and I'm ready to go out and pick-up another anti-virus program to avoid all this frustration.
Any suggestions before I give up would be appreciated.
Thanks!
