Hi everybody,

I have a problem in some of my computers client in a small business server network configuration. What happens is that in more that one computer in my network client can't get the automatic live update working. I checked on some of the clients computers with users group permissions and I realized that norton is not autoupdating as it is supossed to. Every client as it's own subscription and they directly download the updates from Symantec. All the computers have different subscritption expire dates. Anyway to get the last updates on each computer, I have to log on as administrator on the computer and download the updates. I'm not sure that all the computers used from the users has got this problem.
Just another question. Is it normal that the option button on NAV applet when opened from one of the user accounts is not present?
On some of the computers I can't select the automatic liveupdate option to be on, even if it's on when logged in as administrator.
Can you please give me some tips to solve this problems?
Some client computer run NAV 2002 and some 2003 and all of them have different subscription expiry dates.

Thank you.

Pick one of the users and add them to the domain admin group temporarily. Log the user in and see if you can run liveupdate. Sounds like a rights issue...

Do you have ISA install on SBS?
