Norton Antivirus Corporate with SQL Server

Hello,

I get Warnings from Norton Antivirus when scanning SQL Server LDF and MDF files. Do you know what can I do to correct this?

Yes, exclude them from your scans. These are sql database files, they are in use. You would have to stop your sql service to scan them. I wouldn't mess with them.

P.S. Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.
