Norton Antivirus CE 7.6

Hello;

We just installed Norton Antivirus 5 user Corporate edition on our LAN. Everthing seemed OK until a Word Perfect user, (using an OLD DOS version) tried to print. Sometimes it prints, other times we get errors and Windows (98) hangs and we have to reboot.

We uninstalled the NAV client and so far no continued printing problems.

So far we suspect NAV has a conflict with WordPerfect DOS. Anyone have experience with this and can help keep the virus checker enabled?

HI.

You can try to play with the NAV real time protection settings.
Maybe if you exclude a specific folder it will help you.

Is the application running localy from C drive or from the server. If server then provide more details.

And where is the print spooling done?
