Hello,

I get warnings from Norton Antivirus that it can't scan MDF and LDF files on my SQL Server 7.

Do you know what I can do? What do you do on your own servers?

Thank you

David

I omit the .mdf and .ldf files. Norton CAN NOT check them in their 'in use' state. If you must have Norton check them, you will need to detach the database(s), check them, then attach the database(s). Or you can stop and start SQL Server's services instead of detaching and attaching.
