Norton Antivirus 2005

I have tried to upgrad a 2004 to a 2005, but the comp keeps picking up the old renewel date from the 2004 (19/10-2005)

How can I completly remove the old instalation? It must be something in the reg that is make the prob.

Symantec's website will have a proceedure for manually uninstalling and it will tell you which registry entries to remove. Don't have time to look it up for you, sorry.
