Occasionaly when I visit some sites, I get this virus alert from Norton Antivirus 2005 that won't go away no matter what I do.It says that norton has detected & removed a virus from my computer. It puts the file in the quarantine folder & says that it has automatically deleted it.The name of the object is AP0.zip & AP1.zip.The virus name is Trojan.ByteVerify.

When I click ok for the AP0 file, it goes away. Then I click OK for the AP1 file,it also goes. Then the AP0 file comes back & again the AP1 file.I keep clicking ok and the virus alert keeps coming back up over and over again.

Short of a computer restart, I have no solution for thsis problem. Also I can find no way to shut down norton and start it back up again as a way to fix this problem.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might try booting in Safe Mode, disable System Restore, and do a full scan. Make sure your defs are up to date first. That should remove the trojan.
