Norton Antivirus 2004 - not giving me full access to web sites

When accessing some websites where there is a drop down list, I don't get any records to choose, eg "Region", where I want to select a region in France, I click on it, and no regions appear. ( This also happens on Symatec's site where it askes for Version, I am not given a choice ). When I access same website from my Son's PC, and click "Region" I get a load of regions in France from which to choose. His PC does not have Norton Antivirus, mine does, and these accessibility problems have occurred since I installed Norton.

FYI, I have enabled cookies and ActiveX.

Any ideas?
