Hi Guys
Since installing NIV my computer attempts to log on to to the Internet each time I boot up. If I disable ccSetMgr, ScriptBlocking, ccproxy and ccEvtNgr the dial up does not occur. I have disabled Live Updae but nothing changes.
Can anyone suggest how I can prevent this happening and allow me to use my computer for its intended purpose?

did you complete ALL the registration/update process on-line ? maybe something did not complete 100%

Thanks for the response but the problem is now sorted.
The official solution, as provided by Symantec, was to remove certificate checking within the Internet tools> Advanced in Internet Explorer. I must admit to wondering where the connection is but it did the trick and that was my main aim.
I must mention the quick response I received from Symantec - good to see a company looking after its customers.
Thanks again
Keith
