My browser is not set to protect from fradulant websites or "phishing". The fix button will not correct the problem, and Norton has not replied to my emails. Any suggestions?

Hello xjrzygrl

My name is Michael, from the Norton Authorized Support Team. I wanted to know which Norton product and version you are using? If you are using Norton 360, along with Internet Explorer 6 or above or Firefox 2.x or above, the Phishing filter should work. Please let me know what version and which product you are using so I can better assist you.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Mike,
Thank for your note. I believe I am using Internet Exlorer 6. My guess is that all virus protection/ phising issues are protected, and that the note may be a warning. I just want to be sure. Beth

Hi xjrzygrl,

Thanks for your response. It appears that your installation of Norton 360 may have been corrupted and that the phishing filter feature of Norton 360 is not functioning properly.

The easiest way to resolve this issue, is to uninstall Norton 360 and then reinstall the application.

Please click on the following link, and follow all 3 Steps in the document carefully.

Uninstall/Reinstall Norton 360

Please let me know if this resolved the issue.

Thanks,
Mike
