My av programme seems to have a bit of a problem with yaha, which some kind person is sending us.

Nortons works with Vpop email software and I don't know if this is a contributory factor but the email download just hangs and I have to go in via webmail and delete the thing. If I set Nortons to 'ask me what to do', it goes though a couple of warning screens and announces it has quarantined ok and then hangs.

Annoying rather than any thing else.

Would Nortons 2003, or whichever is the currect fix this? Peter Meachem

If your version is 2000, an upgrade would definitely help. Latest I know is NAV 2003. AVChap
... take my advice, I don't use it anyway!

Peter,
Upgraded to NAV 2003 myself so would agree with AVChap.

I remember reading up on this virus a while ago and I am sure it metioned that "yaha" attemted to shut down your AV or firewall.
Could be worth a look on Symantec, sorry can't remember the exact link but I am sure it is worth a look.

Hope this helps, good luck.
