Hey Guys,
I am having mac flapping on our network and it seems to all point to the Nortel 2380 Wlan controller. All the mac addresses in question are not on the wireless network yet they show up in the wlan arp table as:
10.x.x.40 00:50:56:xx:xx:12 1 STA_RSVD STATION|PROXY_ARP
10.x.x.23 00:25:64:xx:xx:34 1 STA_RSVD STATION|PROXY_ARP
The quick fix is to add a static mac entry on our core switch to point it to the right interface on the network. But there are still some left in the arp table on the wlan controller and setting static macs is only a work around. Also, I disabled proxy arp on each SSID and that did not fix the issue.
Any hints on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
