Just wanted to go into more detail on this thread.
PREP YOUR TFTP SERVER
1. Download Pumpkin TFTP (its free) and install on your PC.
2. Make a folder in My Documents called "My TFTP Root".
3. Create a subdirectory within the "My TFTP Root" called "nortel".
4. Configure Pumpkin TFTP to use the "My TFTP Root" folder as a root (not the sub "nortel" folder).
DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE TO THE TFTP SERVER
5. From the Nortel downloads page (appropriate access req'd) search for the WLAN 2245 and download the
"Nortel_WLAN_IPTelephonyManager_Build17x_037.zip" file.
6. Expand the contents of the file within the "My TFTP Root/nortel" directory (there will be 3 files).
TELL THE 2245 TO GET THE SOFTWARE FROM THE TFTP SERVER
7. If required, tell your WLAN2245 equipment what it's IP address is.
8. Tell the WLAN 2245 the IP address of the computer that you loaded TFTP server on.
9. The WLAN2245 will pull down the required files.
