Does anyone know what port the Nortel Extranet Client for a VPN runs on? I have a Linux Firewall and need to config ipchains to open that port up. Says the Manager to the person that invented the modem: "Tell me again why you need two prototypes?!?"

I don't know what port the VPN uses, but this might work for you.

/sbin/iphcains -A input -s VPN.I.P.ADDRESS -d 0/0 -j ACCEPT -l

That should log all the inputs from the VPN's ip address to /var/log/messages.
