Am looking for some guidance on how to configure a Nortel VPN Router 1750 running version 5 software to use pass-thru authentication to a Windows NT 4 domain. This customer is currently using a Cisco PIX and the Cisco VPN client to accomplish this and wants this same capability when we change the Cisco gear out to Nortel. Any thoughts or hints out there? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I've done it using Internet Authentication Service (essentially RADIUS) on a 2000 server, but haven't ever tried it on NT4.

If you can get some type of RADIUS server on NT4, it's a piece of cake from that point. The docs are pretty thorough regarding what needs to be setup on the Contivity.

Thanks biv343 -- That's a start in the right direction. Appreciate the input.
