Hello,

I have been searching and looking through the forums and have not found a clear answer.

I have a Nortel VPN that i connect to work. When connected to this VPN as everyone knows it blocks out LAN and internet access.

My problem is that we have networked printers located in a different part of the office rather than for each machine.

Now is there a way when connected to the VPN (i believe its a server controlled VPN) once connected to work around it and gain access to our local VPN? It is such a PITA to disconnect to print something and then have to reconnect again.

Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Jon

You need what is known as Split Tunnelling. This needs to be configured on the server side. Talk to your VPN Admin to see if he can enable it for you, but you are probably out of luck.
