I upgraded my laptop to Vista and since then my Contivity client stopped working. It is giving me the "Eacfilt driver must be enabled on the active interface...." error message.

I found the beta 6.07d from this site and it worked for a while until it says it is expired. I reinstalled it and still says expired.

I found another eac607d.exe from another site and I noticed that this file is only about 2.6mb while the file I downloaded above previously is over 4.5mb. Needless to say, the new file I found is giving me the Eacfilt error too. Please help!

thanks so much

Nortel has a client out specifically for Vista...However, last I knew it was still in beta. You may be able to download it from the nortel website. But I'm not sure. We were given the beta version by our field engineer. We are using it minimally here for testing. The one thing we have found was that you have to have NAT traversal set to Auto Detect (this is a setting in the Groups configuration) on the VPN Concentrator (Contivity). Hope this helps...I'll check back in a couple days to see how you are doing.

geekbyday, the beta you mentioned can be found in that link I posted. Strange but it worked for me for a while until it started complaining that it is about to expire. It expired and no matter how many times or how I reinstall it, it wouldnt run again. It will install but when you run it, it will say it is expired.

I guess, nortel put an expiration date on it. Any ideas?
