I am attempting to connect to a VPN server outside of my internal network. My internal network is protected by an ISA Server(Sp1) running Windows 2000 Server (Sp3). I am using the Nortel Contivity VPN client V4_15.03 on the computer that is trying to connect. When I try to connect I get this message "Logon Failure due to: Remote host not responding". Does anyone have any ideas?

I am having this exact same issue. I see that no one in this forum has any clues.

L8r and Good Luck!

The Nortel client is will try to make connection through IPSec; IPSec through a NAT firewall is not supported (it tries to edit the IP Header, therefore it invalids the IP packets; which wil be dropped by the VPN server ..)
