Nortel VM 4.0 Class of Service Password Expiry

4.0 VM - New to Nortel - What is the procedure to change a class of service password expiration length time. I will be using a 16 button phone. Thank You

You can not change the class of service over the phone with 4.0. You can only do that with 4.1.05 which is the NEW release for the NAM.

Use voicemail manager 4.0 over the network and you should be able to edit your class of service.

How do you edit the COS?

Your Nam needs to have an ethernet card, and you need Voicemail Manager software. It allows you to make changes to nearly everything on the voicemail. About the only things you cant do is manipulate the trees themselves...

You can also:
Press Feature 983 ->
Enter Password->
Choose Mailbox-> Do Not Enter a Mailbox #
Enter 1->
Enter the COS you want to edit

You can change the COS using jenny's method only if you have 4.1 software, otherwise you'll need to use Norstar Voice Mail Manager.
