Nortel UTAM

Unknownly I purchased a Nortel companion system, and then of course found that it need UTAM codes for it to work. Its funny they didn’t plan a code to release the UTAM requirements once the frequencies were cleared as they are now and UTAM geographical restrictions are no longer an issue. Has anyone come up with a way to make this system work?

If the system was working previously, you may want to try rebooting it before resorting to codes.

Otherwise, call a Norvaya partner- the system is still supported by the new management.

Boy......I don't think you can. You may have to have an authorized dealer call what's left of Nortel and ask. Companion was manufacturer disco'd a few years ago, so don't get your hopes up too high.......
