Is this the only USB headset that can be used with the 2050i Softphone?

You can use any USB headset that you like. The Nortel one has the fancy features on it, but the $50 Plantronics headset that I use works fine for me.

FYI, I had call volume problems with GNNetcom USB adapters on external calls on analog trucks. I ended up replacing them with the Nortel Adapters and it solved my issues. I think the Nortel boxes have a built in amplifier.

Thanks for the info, we are using all Megalink lines, hopefully it won't be a problem for us.
