I am using Succession 3.0 software on a 1000s and connecting H323 to a Cisco router with an FXS card. I find every call I place from the Cisco side to a Nortel I2004 receives reorder tone. However the I2004 will ring, and can be answered with voice being heard at both ends. While I do hear voice at both ends, I still hear the fast busy the even while on the call.

I have turned on D channel messaging in the Nortel and it appears the Nortel is sending an ISDN alerting message to the Cisco router which is causing the fast busy.

I have verified calling into the PBX with H323 does work correctly as I have tested with Asterisk. My problem seems to lie in the Cisco router but I haven't found anything.

Has anyone ran into this or would anyone have suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I currently have Cisco to Nortel connectivity working using QSIG over a PRI. I am trying to migrate to H323 trunks. Has anyone done this?
