I have a MICS with a T1 card connected to a 2811 router configured as a H323 gateway back to call manger. I have all the dial-peers configured in the router and all the routers configured in the system.

I can call from the system 4-digit to any of the other branches on my network. But I can not call into the system that I am trying to add 4 digit calling to. Everytime I dial any number at that branch it rings into the switchboard which is the prime set assigned to all the lines on the t1.

I have tried everything and compared it to other systems I have setup the same way. Any help would be great.

Are you sure you are reciveing 4 digits. And you do have target lines built and assigned. I had this thru a router and the digits were not correct.

Yes the branch has DID setup on there phones so the target lines are already set for the exentions. I can see the call coming into the router and I can see in the system that one of the lines on the T1 goes busy. It is just not ringing the phone I am calling.

Thanks for the Post.

If the systems are the same systems and they are set up the same then it must be the routers programing on site if the other sites can call each other and not this site umm.

I understand the branch has working DID's, but as cook asked, is the branch KSU set to receive 4 digits? If not, I'd see if the Telco will bring a Tberd to the site, and prove your digits are coming through the router.

Thanks to both of you on your replies.

I got to checking the site I was working on, there DID cards Signaling are set to Immediate, I have there T1 Card lines are set to Winkstart.

All the other sites I have configured both the DID and the T1 lines the Signaling is set to Winkstart.

Could this be an issue, if so what are my options. The only signaling choices I have on the T1 lines is Winkstart and DelayDial.

Thanks again.

it should be both wink start (or both immediate)
and like cook and rik said - if the recd numbers are not being matched in the target line - the call goes to the prime set

I agree it sounds like your T1 is ok you are receiving calls just not going where they should. I have seen this when digits were not received correctly, or target lines were not right.

Thanks guys I will do some more digging and get back with you.

Thanks
Chris

I tried setting them up as Immediate that same way as the DID, they do the same thing, just ring and ring. If I change the Answer mode to Auto like the book says, when I call there I just get a fast busy on my end. I can still dial out from that location I just can't call them at all.
I am going to get a local Vendor to go out tomorrow and work with me onsite if I do not get it fixed today.

Thanks

Just to let you know I found the problem, I looked at the pictures my tech took when he installed the T1 card and noticed the system did not have a service card in it. After installing the card I was able to set the lines to auto answer and everything work fine.

Thanks for the help.

Chris

You need DTMF receivers to accept DTMF DNIS digits. Thanks for posting the resolve.
