I have a 1002 router which is password protected.
I have broken into the boot menu and entered X and yes to reset passwords, i.e

Are you sure you want to reset username/password to factory default? Y
Username/password have been reset
[Boot Prompt]:


According to the user guide the default username is Admin and Password Setup

This does not work, anybody any ideas.

Are you typing the username/password in all lowercase?

I seem to remember a 1001 that was older, and the default username/password was admin/admin.

One Nortel document said Admin/Setup
The next said admin/setup
so I tried both
I will try admin/admin
 
Hi Showver...i'm in the exact same situation as you. can you tell me how you get to reset the password?

Everyone swears they didn't change the password...but it's got one and we can't get in. I need to figure a way in.
