I have read on different threads regarding the options for Nortel T7316. One of the most popular ones seems to be the 1825 Duet Plus. On the T7316 model, the only ports that I see on the bottom of the phone are for a headset, the phone itself and the telephone line. Where do you hook this device up to?

Also. We have a paging system that allows us to use the Page feature on the telephones. Is there a way that when a certain extension is dialed, that it would alert via the paging system? Further, if that is an ability, can it happen after a certain amount of rings? Thanks in advance for your expertise!

Compact ICS with a CI trunk. CallPilot 100.

There is an AUX port on the KSU.

You can have a set or line or HG or night service etc uses that port to ring the paging system.
Problem is you dont want to program more than one device or system as you wont know which type of call it is/for.

If its just for a shippers set in a small back warehouse as an example
-Connect AUX port from KSU to AUX on Amplifier, Assign that DN in Capabilities AUX Ringer = YES
-You can hookup the Algo to the headset port the phone.
The cable should not be more than 20 feet from the set.
-You can also add a horn to the algo if the algo is not loud enough.

-You could also mount a 7100 (or any set) somewhere, tale the set apart and tap into the speaker leads and attach to a self amplified horn or even another amp separate from the main one.
