Nortel Succesion 3.0 Level 1 Connection to Cisco 2900 Series T1

We have a Nortel 61c with a T1 Interface to a Cisco 2921 with a T1 Interface and we have no link light on the Cisco 2929 T1 Interface.

We have a T1 (Tie) Connected to CSU\DSU connecting from there to the Cisco 2921 T1 Interface with a Crossover Cable (568A on one end and 568b on the other end). We have verifed and made anothe crossover cable with no luck.

The Nortel T1 card comes up. The D-Channel shows release with a Red Alarm.

In regards to programming the T1 and D-Channel it is done per this Cisco Case Study:

You are building the D Channel as if it is connecting to a DMS-100? Interesting

Have you tried with a straight through patch cable to the CSU?

Sorry, is ethernet x-over the same as T1 x-over? IE, 568A-->B ? I didn't think it was...

t1 x-over is different than ethernet x-over, t1 uses pins 12 and 45 and ethernet uses 12 and 36
