I have just installed a smdr6 on a mics 6.0 for callware call accounting. The call accounting software is on a server. Everthing is working but the smdr6 keeps defaulting from norstar to SL-1. Does anyone have any ideas?

It is possible Lost of power will default the SMDR, Cause is the CAP (BATTERY) inside.
Also the SMDR should really be on the Main cabinet using Using Port 101 to port 120 or Port 125 to 132
A lot of People don't know this. Issues from using station mod ports usually cause SMDR to Lock up when transferring data

I didn't know that either, Tommy.

Is there an issue with ports 121-124, or just a typo?

As a rule, I always put auxilliary equipment on the KSU in case I've got to change fiber ports. It's good to know there's a specific case for SMDR.
