Nortel Selling Port Upgrades for NAM

Hey Guys,

Can anyone tell me if Nortel will directly sell port upgrades to existing customers? I am aware the product is manufacturer disco'd, wondering if they will still sell the upgrade..

As far as I know, they will not. Of course channel upgrade keycodes are always available through the independant market vendors.

So is Nortel going to depend on the CP150 with a max of 200 mailboxes? Anyone know if there is going to be a third level CPilot for Norstar?

Currently with 2.0 software the CallPilot 100 goes up to 40 mailboxes and the CP 150 will handle 300 mailboxes.

There is a 3.0 version software coming out November (read: next year) but while it will offer a number of cool upgrades, it doesn't say that it will upgrade to mailbox count.

Hey Guys, just an update...

I got a doc from Nortel engineer today indicating that the upgrades will in fact remain "orderable", along with the product codes for each..
