Nortel Passport 7480 provisioning problem

While trying to provision a new cross connect on a Passport 7480, we are getting "You must activate the edit view first, then confirm." Does anyone know what this means or how to get into the edit mode? I am at a beginner level with Nortel and need help with this issue. Thanks.

The message you indicate yourself that you must activate the configuration before confirming it.

You must make the following steps to modify the configuration:
start prov
"Modify edit view"
check prov
save prov
act prov
confirm prov
It is ok:
commit prov
end prov

Can i connect a Video Conference equipement on to my passport directly and eshtablish a video conference on Frame relay trunks???

My VCU is IP compatible.

What are the best possibilities???
