Nortel option 81c, analog w/ MWL wont light ,light see msg 2

Hi all, Option 81c has had Lightning issues in the past!!!
Problem: a certain shelf has analog w/ MW line cards that wont light the light on a 500 ser. telephone card works fine other than that. the card will work fine on other shelf, is this a bad shelf, ring gen power supply?

Set up a digital phone with MCK and MIK keys. Push the MIK enter the extn and if all is working it should light the message lamp. press mck and extension to extinguish. This will prove if it is hardware or programming

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Possible bad pe power supply. Do you have LPA in the CLS?
