If you are involved in this type of migration process, this will be of tremendous help in determining what your considerations for migration are. I am currently involved in a Cisco AVVID (Call Manager) migration for a customer with over 70 sites in Florida. The site I am working on currently, involves a Meridian Option 11 which is the current platform for the customers call center. Since Cisco hasn't finished their new call center solution, the customer is having to homogenize these systems at this campus.

Most of the people at this campus will migrate to the CCM IPT platform (And their PSTN DID numbers will migrate to the new cloud), including the main number at the campus and the operator console. The Call center members will remain on the Meridian PBX platform, but will have an access code added to the Meridian Coordinated Dialing Plan to allow them to four digit dial extensions (DID's) a crossed a new PRI TIE line (T-1), which I added to connect the PBX to the CCM router. In turn, the users who migrate to the CCM IPT platform will have an access code to dial with the four digit (DID) extension of those who remain on the Meridian platform.

The details of this migration process are documented on the link listed here:

Thanks
here's an add on for your faq, in case someone also needs the code, i can't post the cisco side due to the fact that i only have it in a pdf.
