Hey troops..
I have a customer that has extended 2 stations to a remote location. These sets are 1140s. This is for a new customer to use their system, however they do not want to play MOH for these sets. Is there a way to maybe in COS to not play music from these 2 sets only??
Silly question, but had to ask. Built these in a ACD group and assigned a blank MRT, but this is funky...

Music on hold is as far as I know a system wide feature and it's either ON or OFF.

However, are these actually ACD Agent IP sets?. If so, then perhaps the recordings are from the ACD announcements and it might be possible to assign these agents into an ACD queue of thier own with the RAN and MUS removed?.

Set-based Music on Hold was introduced with release 7.0. New CLS SBMA and prompt MRT for the music route.
Check the feature guide under Music.

Sorry - I guess you want music 0n hold for all phones except two.
Doubtful you want to reprogram every phone with SBMA just so you can have two with SBMD!

But my opinion is that music on hold is usually a bad feature except for call centers. Ever been on a conference call when someone puts their phone on hold and everybody hears the music?
