I have a nortel Norstar pbx setup behind a cisco voip CO system. The company has just switched to that cisco and every other morning all the phone lines will show as if they are in use. The only way to fix it is to cut power to the pbx and let it come back up.

Has anyone run into this problem?

Thanks

Sean

Norstar CO's must see a disconnect signal from the CO source. 2 possible problems... 1 Disconnect supervision is not turned on in your norstar or the cisco voip is not providing it.

I have run into this exact same problem with my Cisco VoIP box...I enabled DS on the line and set the timer a little shorter and it seemed to fix the issue.
