Where can I purchase replacement plastic inserts (which lie under the handset on the tel. base)and buttons (ie. green handsfree btns.) for Nortel Norstar telephone sets? I have looked on ebay to no avail. Any suggestions? Thnx

Just do a google search for "norstar key cap pack".

There used to be a source thru mikesandman.com but I just talked to them and that source also has been discontinued. they advised me that there is a company called plastix that makes the button caps also (after market) (615-443-1900) I have not talked to them so I cannot recommend or advise on price. If you do Please let us know back on this thread. LOL

Check out a company called Panaseas ( They sell pretty much everything as far as desi sheets, plastic sheets, handsets, curlycords, any keycaps you might ever desire. They sell their keycaps either in bulk bags or in "lit pack" format with caps, desi's, userguide, etc. In fact they'll even do custom worded keycaps for you in relatively small quantities.

I've bought from them in the past and their caps are virtually indistinguishable from Nortel caps, and have never had any problem with keys sticking like some 3rd party manufacturers. Same goes for their handsets and curly cords, they all color match perfectly and work well.

They also do Lucent/Avaya and Toshiba stuff too, never bought that stuff but have no reason to believe it wouldn't be just as good quality :)

Cheers,
