Hi Guys, I have an old Nortel / Norstar system, we had a DID on it and everything worked fine, we had to port the DID out and we had a new DID assigned. How do I update the new DID in the nortel / norstar system? Right now I can't make or receive calls and I assume it is because the new DID does not match what is in the system. (This is a PRI trunk)

TIA

I believe I found the "target line" but I don't see the old DID being listed anywhere there.
I believe my target line is 225
I found it by going to "Lines">225>Show>Trunk/Line data>"Target Line">Next>"Line Type: Public"

I was also able to go to Terminal Sets>225>Line Acces>OLI:(which lists the old DID)

View your line #
Go to Set's/XXX/LineAccess/LineAssignment/ to see what Line # is assigned to your set.

Received digits
Your not going far enough in programming
Go to Lines">225>Show>Trunk/Line data> Next, Next >Received Numbers>Next >Pub

Hi curlycord, thanks for the reply. I am a noob to this so hopefully I get this right. I believe my main Operator extension is 225, which is also what I believe all the calls come into first.

When I goto:
"Set's/225/LineAccess/LineAssignment/ " it prompts me with "Show Line:" if I enter 225, it says "L225:Unassigned"
If I go back and say "Show" I get "L001:pRI-B" I get PRI-B for L001 to L023, after which it is PRI-A

When in line assignment push the "scan" button to see what lines are assigned.

You do not assign the PRI lines, only Target Lines.

Your best to call a tech especially if you cannot dial in or out.

When I press scan for 225 i get L157:Appr&Ring
This is no longer a production system, so I figured I would take this opportunity to learn how to do it.
