I have a Norstar MICS and need to know if it possible to hook a radio to allow for music on hold to the system.

It is possible. You should post this int he Norstar forum though. It has been years since I have done it and I am not sure which pins it need to go on. I think it is on the violet green of the second station cable coming out of the main cabinet. But the people in the Norstar forum will hwip it off the top of their heads.

on the norstar you do use pins violet/green and green/violet. make sure you are on the line side amphenol, not the station side. if you have programming set to music on hold, you can clip your butt set on the pins and should hear music. also can do the feature,8,6 from a phone set and hear music.

smiffman...when you say radio meaning what?are you going
to be playing a radio station if so that is not allowed
because it is rebroadcasting a radio station.now if you
are going to use a cd or tape player its different you
can do that but be careful of what you are playing
because of copy rights.fcc has rules on what is and whats
not allowed.
