I have a number of extensions that aren't labled on the block. Is there a quick way to determine what extension is where?

- feature *0/ IC shows the DN number, press the view soft key- it will show the port.

-or use a toner

- or counting the block from a known location (assuming it is default square)

You can go into maintenance and and do a cross reference of port and ext number

If you have a number of extensions that are not labled, are there some that are?
If there is, in most cases, you would go numericaly down the block.
This is in most cases, but not always.
Somtimes installers do wierd things, or, customers want weird numbers.

Thanks all for your suggestions. But unfortunately there are a number of extensions that are unmarked and they aren't numerically down the block. They are spread across a number of blocks. It looks like I will need to go to the manual and start tracing wires.

What bkrike said is the easiest way. If the phone is not a display phone press # to view port number.
