nortel modular IVR connection issues

I'm not sure if I'm in the right formu, but I have installed a nortel modular telephone system w/a T1 for incoming lines and call pilot 150 VM and (2)ASM's for analog ports required to connect to an astricks based IVR system. I only found out today that my ASM's don't pass caller ID, which is required by not mandatory for the IVR, but we are having issues with line disconnect thru the IVR, and are now thinking that the telephone system is inadequate to communicate with the IVR. Does anyone have experience installing an IVR to a nortel modular? Or, could give any advice about connection between the two devices, and how to make these two devices talk to each other?
