My company is opening an office in Mexico in a leased space. We run a Nortel MICS in our office in the states and are therefore familiar with system and programming. Will the MICS work with the Mexican Telco. We have four copper lines incoming. Any advice appreciated.

Used to support a full Norstar MICS system in Mexicali. No issues integrating with Telmex. both copper and E1 support.

One option you have to avoid issues when reinstalling an Old Norstar MICS (out of the US) is to migrate the MICS box to a product like E-MetroTel UCx which fully support the local analog trunk interface. UCx will will allow you to re-use all you Nortel Digital phones with the same interface and features plus adding new functionalities like Automatic Attendant, Voice Mail, Unified Messaging and Conference Bridge for your MICS end users.
