Does any know how to change from regular DS lines to CID lines?

CID or CLID is a a Caller ID feature on line.
DS (Disconnect Supervision) is a feature on the line to disconnect when line is released.

If you are looking to get Caller ID then you need to call your carrier to put the feature on the line as well purchase a CLID card and some programming so best to call your local Norstar vendor to install and program.

You have to make sure you have a CID trunk cartridge instead of a LSDS trunk cartridge installed. If you do, then on the phones that the lines ring to you go into TERMINALS&SETS - TELCO FEATURES - FEATURE ASSIGNMENT and on the lines that ring to the set, you set CLID to yes. You want to back up one step (still within TELCO FEATURES) and set the CALLED ID to yes, so they can see the CLID before they answer the call. This programming is on a per set basis.
