So I'm cutting my teeth on a Nortel MICB that we inherited when we picked up a new customer. I can log in through the web browser, but cannot login through telnet. I am trying to use the admin account for both. Is there something that I am missing here? Can admin log into both interfaces? When I look and the admin account in web management I see that it is referred to as "User ID for browser login". Any help is greatly appreciated.

make sure your telnet session is set for 19200 N81

try to with follow credentials:
user: micb
pwd: admin

I got it. FTcom, you were on the right path. I ended up going to site and logging in through the console. I found and set the user/pwd combos for console and telnet. All is well now.
